OneDrive is a storage app. OneDrive lets you access and edit your files from all your devices anywhere. Use this Windows app to access and share your files from your Windows devices such as Xbox, Surface Hub or HoloLens. The OneDrive app for Windows 10 allows you to work with both your personal and work files easily.

  • Open in Microsoft Store, show in webstore or invoke:

    winget install -e 9WZDNCRFJ1P3 --accept-package-agreements

  • Invoke the installer listed on Windows Package Manager:

    winget install -e Microsoft.OneDrive

  • Download it from the publisher’s website

  • Unlink device

    • Open System Tray > OneDrive > Settings > Settings
    • Click Account > Unlink this PC

Setup up OneDrive

  • Sign in
  • CHANGE LOCATION to D:\Onedrive
  • Confirm Use this folder
  • DON’T backup Desktop

Open System Tray > OneDrive > More > Settings

  • Open Settings tab
    • When OneDrive suggests a new collection of my photos and videos # Notifications

Open Backup tab

  • Automatically save screenshots I capture to OneDrive
